Do you like to sing? Then join us!
Do you sing along to the radio in the car? In the shower? With your mates in the pub? Can you hum a tune?
Sounds like we might be the perfect match for you to enjoy a whole new world of male voice singing. Our superb Musical Director and friendly members will help you learn the songs even if you don't have previous singing experience or cant read music. You will enjoy the fun, banter and new friendships you will make as you progress. You'll be singing in concerts with us in no time.

If your idea of a male voice choir is a bunch of old men singing outdated or religious songs then you are as outdated as them. The Daleian singers is a group of men who like to sing and entertain both ourselves and an audience when we have concerts. We sing a diverse range of songs from famous artists like Robbie Williams, Boys own, from the latest West End shows and a few sea shanties (great for singing in the pub after concerts or during our social events) something for everyone's taste. Come along and see for yourself.

We are a 4-part choir. Top Tenors, who get the high notes, Bass get the low ones, Baritones for the mid range and Second Tenors for all the rest (they say they have the most difficult parts and hold the rest of the singers together, other sections might disagree!!)! We’ll give you a quick vocal range check (in private) at the start so we can assign you to the right section straight away. (It’s not scary, don’t worry!)

We realise the initial thought of walking into a room full of guys who all know each other is a bit daunting, so we will arrange for someone in the choir to meet you either before you come for the first rehearsal or at the door so he can gradually introduce you to the rest of us. Contact us now by clicking contact us or call or text steve on 07497 883638 or email sec@daleiansingers.org.uk and we will be in contact ASAP.
If you are brave enough to just turn up we rehearse at a church hall ('cus it's cheap and has good acoustics, we are a non religious group and open to all faiths and atheists alike) the address is;
St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 3-11 Severn Drive, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 4BH on Monday evenings 7:15 – 9:15

“I Joined the Choir after seeing a performance at a family event and not looked back. The opportunities that the choir has opened for me are amazing! It’s great to do something different and rehearsal night gives me a few hours a week to forget about everything else and concentrate on learning our music and producing an amazing sound”

I was walking past a building and heard this fantastic noise. I popped my head in to look and was grabbed and welcomed. I'd never heard of male voice choirs before and now really glad I stumbled across these great fun loving guys. It took me a few months to even think I was singing the right notes and then all of a sudden it clicked.I really enjoy the friendships and the sound we make

“I saw an advert and thought why not! I was apprehensive about meeting so many new blokes and whether my voice was up to it. I was met by the choir joker, Dave at the front door, was immediately made welcome and felt comfortable. A chorister was allocated to show me around the music and get me seated. I’ve not looked back since.”

“I joined The Daleians after a friend talked me into a beer and a sing. It’s been fantastic! The camaraderie is so welcoming, whilst daunting at first and you think you will never learn the part , after 3 months I was amazed at what I could sing. The sound we make is just wonderful. Makes me wonder why I didn’t join sooner!”
